The students will have an understanding of the concepts, theories and generalizations used by psychologists/sociologists when interacting online with others. 2. The students will acquire the ability to understand online behaviors, cognitions, relationships, and online interactions via completion of this course. 3. The students will become familiar with online Social Networking Sites (SNS), interactions across SNSs, and current research on SNSs and video gaming procuring an in-depth and first hand understanding of the online culture. Accompanying this would be a computer with the ability to handle the video game. Options would be World of Warcraft, Guild Wars 2, Elder Scrolls Online, and Star Wars: The Old Republic; professor will include links on Blackboard.
