NUTR 481 - Medical Nutrition Therapy II |
An integration of pathophysiology, biochemistry, and nutrition concepts that form the basis for medical nutrition therapy in health care. The nutrition care process and standardized language is applied to the development of nutrition care plans for case studies representing a variety of diseases and medical conditions. Students cannot receive credit for both this course and NUTR 483 Medical Nutrition Therapy III.
Prerequisites: NUTR 374 Human Nutrition Science and NUTR 381 Medical Nutrition Therapy I; Open to students in the Coordinated Program in Dietetics or Nutrition and Dietetics concentrations only.
