PRDV 70725 - Defining and Creating Professional Learning Communities
A focus on the rationale and advantages for creating action teams in schools that work effectively to solve problems and develop new high level learning to close the Achievement Gap. This course examines current research and guidelines on how professional learning communities work to create dramatic changes in teaching and learning and in the school culture that supports a learning community. Participants examine the specifics and effects of collaborative cultures and how to maximize the benefits for schools, teachers and students.
