ESLI I060 - Intensive English Writing for Professional Purposes
For students who have achieved an advanced level of English fluency and would like to develop specialized writing skills to use in the context of their profession. Class content includes: how to write a literature review; research practice; documenting sources using citations and references; advanced paraphrasing; and practicing various writing styles, including writing for publication, consumer and business letters, memorandums, and short reports. Students receive instructor supervision to develop individualized projects such as a poster presentation or a case study analysis relevant to their profession. NOTE: This class meets seven and one-half (7.5) hours per week. Prerequisite: Students must test at a Level 4 or higher.
