PRDV 71723 - Promoting Lifelong Learning:Developing Student Self-Efficacy Through Metacognition
A focus on how to create a classroom environment that nurtures individual self-efficacy and the skillful practice of Metacognition. Intrinsic motivation is enhanced by a strong sense of self-efficacy. Integrating Metacognition into the learning environment helps students understand their strengths. Participants consider assessment practices to support and encourage self-knowledge that motivates students to continuously seek to improve themselves as learners.
