ARTS 801 - Color Theory |
A study of color focusing on major color theories including those of Itten, Muncell, and Albers.
Students examine the physical properties and psychological aspects of color in artistic expression.
Lectures, discussions, presentations, and studio projects explore color contrasts and relationships. Media used are collage and water-based paints. Note: Credit will not be given for both this course and 11.401 Color.
