NUTR 478 - Community Nutrition
An introduction to the program, policies, and institutions that influence nutrition services at the local, state, and national levels. Special attention is given to the assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of programs targeted to populations with high nutritional risk. The role of the political process in the promotion of food and nutrition programs is examined. Prerequisite: NUTR 381 Introduction to Nutrition Practice.
