ENGL 397 - Studies in African American Literature
An exploration of a special topic in African American literature. Topics change each time the course is offered and may include classic and contemporary slave narratives, literature of the American Civil Rights Movement, African American drama since 1945, and the novels of Toni Morrison. Prerequisite: ENGL 204 Literary Study or ENGL 264 African-American Literature, or permission of instructor.
