BBED 950 - Curriculum Development: Lesson and Unit Planning in Bilingual Programs |
An overview of curriculum organization and instructional design as it pertains to bilingual/dual language PreK-12 students. Participants critique published materials and design their own integrated units of study. Students also delve into curriculum and social justice standards and learn how to design standards-based units and lessons. Selection of culturally responsive materials is also covered.
Prerequisites: BBED 930 Biliteracy and Oral Language Development
