PADM 929 - Techniques of Policy Analysis |
An introductory course in public policy analysis. In addition to surveying the politics of the policy-making process, the course develops a framework of principles for making policy decisions and examine general analytical methods useful for the decision process. Topics include module survey techniques, benefit-cost analysis and the role of the analysis as an alternative to political power.
