| NUED 910 - Nutrition Science in the Classroom |

An update for teachers, health educators, and other health professionals on the application or nutrition principles and research that support the United States Dietary Guidelines and other dietary guidelines established by voluntary health agencies. Content includes basic nutrition science and applications for nutrition education. Students conduct a computer analysis of their own diets. Resources for instruction are identified and evaluated for a variety of audiences and settings. Note: This course cannot be applied to graduate or certificate programs for nutrition professionals.
Prerequisite: Non-nutrition bachelor's degree.
