EVSS 495 - Internship in Environment, Society, and Sustainability |
A supervised practical experience in a public or private agency, appropriate to the student’s training and interests. The internship program is offered through cooperation with participating institutions that provide guidance for the interns. A minimum of 160 on-site hours is necessary, and must be completed within one (1) semester. The student must record the work done during the internship in the form of journal entries and/or a final paper or presentation as determined by the FSU supervising faculty and department chair. A student may take up to two (2) separate internship experiences.
Prerequisites: Junior standing, two (2) semesters completed at Framingham State University, overall GPA of 2.75 with a 2.75 GPA in courses for the student’s major, and approval of the Department Chair.
