CRIM 490 - Independent Study in Criminology
An in-depth investigation into a specific topic relating to the student's interest in criminology. The selection of topic is made by the student with written approval of the faculty supervisor. Students are expected to work with a high degree of independence. The student is responsible for securing a faculty supervisor for the course. Course content and projects are determined by the faculty supervisor in consultation with the student. Prerequisites: Junior status; a 200-level course in Criminology; and permission of instructor.
