EVSS 460 - Thesis in Environment, Society, and Sustainability |
A synthesis of the undergraduate major experience for students in the Environment, Society, and Sustainability Department. Students work on independent research projects under faculty supervision, scaffolded by instruction in such topics as preparation of literature reviews, laboratory techniques, geospatial techniques, fieldwork skills, experimental design, data analysis, and scientific communication. Open to students in the Environment, Society, and Sustainability Department only. Content and assignments vary by semester to meet the needs of enrolled students.
Prerequisite: Senior standing.
