NUTM 444 - Management in School Nutrition Programs
An investigation of the principles of management and organizational behavior needed for leaders of school nutrition programs. Topics include management theory, managing human resources, marketing, communication, leadership theory, financial data analysis, productivity, governmental regulations, and quality assurance programs. Note: Students cannot receive credit for both this course and NUTR 482 Management in Food and Nutrition Services. This course is not open to students in the Food and Nutrition Department. Prerequisite: Enrolled in the Certificate in Excellence in School Nutrition Program or permission of the instructor.
