HLTH 430 - Research Methods in Health and Wellness
An introduction to research methods in health and wellness. Students learn how to develop research questions, design research studies, and analyze and interpret data. Topics may include ethics in research and qualitative and quantitative research design and analyses, including interviews, case studies, cross-sectional studies, and longitudinal studies. Note: This course is only open to majors in Health & Wellness or Food & Nutrition. Prerequisites: HLTH 222 Public Health and Epidemiology and an introductory statistics course; or permission of the instructor.
