An introduction to human infectious disease. Topics include: microbial pathogenic mechanisms, contemporary diagnostic techniques, and treatment, if available. Peer reviewed primary articles are the main source of information. No Laboratory.
Prerequisite: BIOL 228/228L Microbiology with Lab or permission of the instructor.
