An analysis of methods for efficient production and distribution of goods and services by profit and nonprofit organizations. Topics covered include supply chain management, logistics, customer demand forecasting, use of technology in operations, inventory management, product design, process selection, production planning, quality control, waiting line management, and project management.
Prerequisites: MGMT 280 Organizational Behavior and one of the following courses: BUAN 204 Analytical Techniques for Business or QUAN 202 Statistical Analysis for Business and Economics or MATH 217 Business Calculus.
