FSHD 352 - Draping |
A study of the theory and application of principles of apparel design on three dimensional body forms. Basic silhouettes and garment style features are draped and fitted in muslin. Students use the principles of draping to create original apparel designs in fashion fabric for specified target markets. Note: Design Studio courses meet for five (5) hours per week and consist of four (4) hours of lecture/critique and one (1) hour of studio instruction.
Prerequisite: FSHD 230 Advanced Apparel Construction.
