SPAN 334 - Latin American Culture and Civilization |
A survey of Latin American cultures, studied chronologically from the pre-Columbian Mayan, Aztec and Inca civilizations to the present. The predominant cultural currents and artistic developments are studied. The course is conducted in Spanish.
Prerequisite: SPAN 211 Advanced Spanish Grammar and Conversation or SPAN 212 Advanced Spanish Grammar and Composition or prior approval of the instructor.
