An in-depth study of the interwar years and World War II. Topics examined may include cultural changes of the 1920s, labor and social unrest, the Republican ascendancy, the Great Depression, the New Deal, class conflict, systemic racism, and World War II at home and abroad.
Prerequisites: Sophomore standing and one (1) 100-level history course; or permission of instructor.
