CRIM 321 - Intimate Partner Violence
An analysis of the causes and consequences of intimate partner violence. Emphasis is placed on societal and cultural factors. The course considers how intimate partner violence varies by social class, race, ethnicity, gender identity, and sexual orientation. Legal, medical, and social service responses to intimate partner violence are explored. Prerequisites: A 100-level Criminology or Sociology course.
