SOCI 306 - Nonprofit Giving |
An exploration of the impacts of charitable giving. The course examines issues facing marginalized individuals and communities. Students get hands-on experience in evaluating local organizations that are working to address the root causes of these issues.
Prerequisites: Sophomore standing and any course in Anthropology, Sociology, or Criminology; or permission of instructor.
