GEOG 300 - Geospatial Applications Using Python |
An introduction to applied geospatial analysis using Python programming. The objective of this course is to demonstrate the utility of using Python and open source database systems in all phases of GIS analysis, including spatial data input, database management, geo-visualization, and spatial analysis. The course focuses on using open-source Python libraries suited for analyzing GIS data.
Prerequisite: GEOG 111 Visualizing Social and Environmental Justice, GEOG 216 Introduction to Geographical Information Systems, or permission of instructor.
