SOCI 230 - Law and Society |
A study of law as a process by which societies accomplish social control, settle disputes, and foster or impede social change. Focusing on the United States, the course examines connections among the law, history, technology, religion, the economy, and politics.
Prerequisite: Any course in Anthropology, Sociology, Criminology, Political Science, or HSTY 111 or 112; or permission of instructor.
