GEOG 216 - Introduction to Geographical Information Systems
An introduction to the use of Geographical Information Systems (G.I.S.) in analyzing spatial data, including methods of data acquisition, and the theory and design of G.I.S. storage and to various aspects of retail location, urban planning, and environmental concerns. Prerequisite: Prior knowledge of computers, with permission of instructor, or CSCI 120 Introduction to Information Technology.
