FSHD 140 - Principles of Apparel Construction |
A laboratory course in which students use slopers to produce completed garments. Emphasis is on materials selection, construction techniques, and quality standards. A notebook of basic assembly techniques is produced. Students with extensive construction experience may petition for exemption from this course. Note: Design Studio courses meet for five (5) hours per week and consist of four (4) hours of lecture/critique and one (1) hour of studio instruction.
