NUTM 222 - Professional Development and Communication in School Nutrition |
A review of the knowledge and skills necessary for school nutrition professionals to establish a communication infrastructure to promote their school nutrition programs to a variety of audiences in the school community. Students advance their presentation skills, develop competencies in adult learning theory and training, and develop expertise in written communication for a variety of different audiences in school nutrition programs. NOTE: This course is not open to students in the Food and Nutrition Department.
Prerequisite: Enrolled in the Certificate in Excellence in School Nutrition Program or permission of the instructor.
