| BIOL 340 - Immunology |

A study of the principles of immunology and its application to diseases and health. The course examines the molecular and cellular components of the immune system relevant to infectious diseases, genetic- and infection-associated immunodeficiency, cancer, hypersensitivity, autoimmunity, and transplantation. Students are required to enroll in the corresponding laboratory (3 hours).
Prerequisite: BIOL 307 Microbiology or permission of instructor.
