| BIOL 224 - Animal Physiological Ecology |

An introduction to the physiological adaptations and mechanisms by which animals compensate for environmental variation.Students are required to enroll in the corresponding laboratory (3 hours). Note: Students may not receive credit for both this course and BIOL 234 Comparative Vertebrate Physiology. Note: Students may receive credit for only one (1) of the following courses: BIOL 224 Animal Physiological Ecology or BIOL 235 Principles of Human Physiology or BIOL 242 Human Anatomy and Physiology II.
Prerequisites: CHEM 107 Principles of Chemistry and BIOL 160 Introduction to Organismal Biology and BIOL 161 Introduction to Cell and Molecular Biology, each with a minimum grade of C- (1.70); or permission of the instructor.
Corequesite: BIOL 224L Animal Physiological Ecology Lab
