LIBS 450 Seminar in Liberal Studies
A capstone seminar in which students engage in advanced study and research under the direction of a faculty member. In addition to completing a major research project, students may be expected to present their conclusions in a scholarly setting. The research topic varies each semester for each section of the class.
Prerequisites: LIBS 250 Introduction to Research Methods and senior standing; or permission of Liberal Studies coordinator. Liberal Studies Majors only.
1.000 Credit hours 4.000 Lecture hours Levels: Non-Matriculated, Undergraduate Schedule Types: Independent/Directed Study, Lecture Liberal Studies Department Course Attributes: Undergraduate Level Course Restrictions: Must be enrolled in one of the following Majors: Liberal Studies May not be assigned one of the following Student Attributes: DGCE Student Must be enrolled in one of the following Classifications: Senior - Day Division Senior - Continuing Educatn Prerequisites: PREREQ for LIBS 450 General Requirements: ( May not be taken concurrently. ) or ( May not be taken concurrently. ) or ( Course or Test: LIBS 250 May not be taken concurrently. ) |
