MGMT 308 - Managing Across Cultures
An examination of how cultural difference impacts business interactions. Students learn techniques for interacting effectively with people from different countries and cultures who are part of the same multinational company and how to identify and respond to cultural differences when negotiating across cultures and working with multicultural teams. Topics include the nature and dimensions of culture, managing cultural differences, the dynamics of intercultural communication, and global perspectives on leadership, motivation, and decision making. Prerequisite: MGMT 280 Organizational Behavior.
