PSYC 304 - Psychology of Careers
An introduction to research on career development and the contemporary workforce. The course provides an overview of the major theories of career choice, such as trait-factor, developmental, and ecological approaches. The structure of vocational interests, values, personality, and abilities is also discussed. Finally, research on graduate school admissions and job search strategies is reviewed. This is a writing intensive psychology course.
