NUTR 619 - Professional Development and Communication for School Nutrition Professionals
A review of the knowledge and skills necessary for school nutrition professionals to establish a communication infrastructure to promote the school nutrition programs to a variety of audiences in the school community. Students advance their presentation skills, develop competencies in training, and expertise in written communication for public relations and marketing strategies in school nutrition programs. Emphasis is placed on the role of school nutrition directors in promoting the Whole Community, Whole School, Whole Child approach to wellness, education, and health.
