SOCI 480 - Sociology Senior Thesis Seminar
An opportunity for students who seek to expand upon and further develop their research methods project or to initiate a new or related in-depth project. Course work involves creating and completing a research project and culminates in a major paper for presentation at a departmental student research colloquium. Class meetings involve weekly presentations of work progress, research issues, and new discoveries in the literature and in students’ research. Prerequisites: SOCI 303 Sociological Methods II - Data Collection and Analysis and senior standing. Sociology majors only.
