BIOL 255 - Plant Physiology
An introduction to basic processes that regulate plant growth and development. Photosynthesis, photomorphogenesis, hormonal control, and mineral acquisition are emphasized. The laboratory has an open-ended design with an emphasis on repeatability of experimental results. Prerequisites: CHEM 107 Principles of Chemistry; BIOL 160 Introduction to Organismal Biology and BIOL 161 Introduction to Cell and Molecular Biology or BIOL 101 Biological Concepts.
