PRDV 70220 - Keeping Creativity Alive in Writing |
A focus on creative strategies for educators who teach writing. Participants watch lectures, read short pieces, and discuss what makes good writing exceptional. Topics that are covered include the process of creativity, story development and visualization, effective dialogue, and structure options. As a means of learning how to pass along similar strategies to their students, participants create their own short story or narrative essay to be work-shopped by the other participants.
