An overview of current evidence-based practice in managing both overweight and underweight
individuals across the lifecycle. Topics include: scientific background on the etiology of
overweight and obesity and the role of the food environment; role of the education system supports in addressing issues surrounding weight management; initiatives to promote healthy weight management Course is appropriate for school nutrition professionals, registered dietitians,
nurses and health educators.
