COMM 330 - Advanced Photography
A practicum in advanced photographic production where students gain a sense of context for their own creative choices through studying the works of past and contemporary photographers. Emphasis is on the development of the student’s personal photographic style and on the refinement of technical abilities. Lighting techniques and different camera formats are introduced, as well as other advanced photographic topics. The preparation of a coherent thematic portfolio of photographs is required. Students must have access to their own SLR camera for use in this course. Prerequisite: COMM 315 Intermediate Photography or permission of the instructor.
