ARTS 845 - Teaching Art Thru Digital Design |
An overview of the fundamental elements of digital design as used in contemporary art classrooms. Basic software appropriate to K-12 art classrooms is introduced through a variety of studio projects. Students design digital images, photograph artwork, manipulate digital photpgraphs, and create visual documents and presentations used in K-12 art education. Students are required to bring a digital camera and USB flash drive to class. NOTE: Enrollment in this course is limited to graduate students in the Master of Education program, concentration in Art.
Prerequisite: Three undergraduates art courses (one in two-dimensional design and two drawing courses) or permission of the instructor.
