A survey of major artists and art movements from Post-Impressionism through Post-Modernism
(1880's - 1980's). Issues and events of the twentieth century, such as rapidly expanding
technology, world wars, utopian and civil rights movements, feminism, and multiculturalism
are explored in relationship to avant-garde art movements.
