A foundation for the synthesis of information, nutrition and technology. The focus is on the food and nutrition professionals' role in the selection, implementation, and maintenance of information
management systems and other technology, such as the electronic medical record, security systems, and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Evidence Analysis Library. Applications to foodservice operations, clinical nutrition management consumer health information systems, and other food and nutrition environments are addressed.
