A study of the functional systems in the human body and the maintenance of homeostasis. Systems covered in this course include: endocrine, cardiovascular, renal (urinary), immune and digestive. Laboratory. Course offered Fall semester. Note: Students may receive credit for only one of the following courses: BIOL 234 Comparative Vertebrate Physiology, BIOL 272 Human Anatomy and Physiology:Cellular and Organ Systems, or BIOL 333 Principles of Human Physiology.
Prerequisites: An introductory biology course with laboratory and an introductory chemistry course with laboratory.
