ENGL 885 - Seminar in Prose Writing |
An advanced writing workshop for students who have already had some experience in writing
nonfiction, and who now wish to complete extended projects or work on new material. The
course explores various types of creative nonfiction: biography and memoir, and writing about
travel, food, nature, and society. Classes are devoted to discussion of student work and to some
discussion of notable nonfiction. Prerequisite: ENGL 284/ENGL 863 Prose Writing or permission of the instructor.
