ENGL 873 - Chaucer |
The Canterbury Tales, Troilus and Criseyde, and other shorter poems in relation to Chaucer¿s world and time, his development as an artist, and the lasting value of his works. The works will be read in Middle English; an introduction to Chaucer¿s language will be given.
Prerequisite: One graduate English course; or two undergraduate English courses at the 300-level or higher; or permission of the instructor or chair of the English Department.
