BIOL 211 - Biology of Reptiles |
An examination of the organismal diversity of reptiles including the variation in reproduction, life history, feeding, and conservation biology that affect these species. Species identification and field techniques will be emphasized. Students participate in collecting, handling, and identifying reptiles (including non-venomous snakes) in the field. Laboratory.
Prerequisites: An introductory biology course with laboratory, or BIOL 200 Introduction to Environmental Science, or permission of the instructor.
